The New York Police Department isn't exactly the most popular law enforcement agency at the moment. In fact, one Bronx stabbing victim chose to take his killer's name to the grave rather than help officers out by trying to identify his attacker.
Daniel Pena, 23, was stabbed Wednesday evening in a building courtyard on Decatur Ave. When police arrived at the scene, they asked Pena about his attacker's identity. Instead of sharing any information with the cops, Pena had some choice words instead.
"As he took his dying breath, his last words to police were, 'Fuck you,'" a law enforcement source told New York Post. Pena lost consciousness shortly after saying those words and was pronounced dead at Saint Barnabas Hospital.
His remarks reflect how unpopular NYPD officers have become in recent years, especially following three high profile incidents.
